National Rural Development Programme 2007 - 2013
CONSULTATION PROCESS
The National Rural Development Programme 2007 - 2013 is expected to get underway in 2008. In preparation for this Cavan/Monaghan Rural Development Co-op in association with the proposed new Cavan and Monaghan County Structures are planning a series of consultation meetings where the general public will have the opportunity to learn what actions and supports may be eligible under axis 3 & 4 (LEADER) measures of the plan.
The National Rural Development Plan 2007 – 2013 will have a budget of €425million available nationally.
Attendees at the meetings will be invited to submit ideas or suggestions for consideration in the Cavan/Monaghan area plan.
The consultation / information meetings will be held in the following locations;

| Thursday, 22nd May ’08 @ 8.00pm sharp | Stradone Community Centre, Stradone, Co. Cavan |
| Tuesday, 27th May ’08 @ 8.00pm sharp | Drumlane Community Partnership, Milltown, Belturbet, Co. Cavan |
| Wednesday, 28th May ’08 @ 8.00pm sharp | The Workhouse, Carrickmacross, Co. Monaghan |
If you are unable to attend any of the above Consultation Meetings, a written submission can be made directly for the attention of the Manager at the address below. Alternatively you can download the Community Consultation Questionnaire and / or the General Consultation Document below, fill in and return to CMRD by email or post, before Friday the 6th June 2008.
