Activity

Creating your card template using Microsoft Word
At this point you will need:
Home computer & coloured printer
Card c/w envelope (5ins. x 5ins.)
Paper (A4)

blank card and envelopeSwitch on your computer and printer and open Microsoft word.

To set up the card template on your computer, measure your card (card must be fully open) size 10ins. across x 5ins. down.

Open a blank document in Microsoft Word. Go to page setup, set all margins at 0.3”, page – landscape. In paper setup, select custom size, set the width at 10” and the Height at 5”.

Type your greeting, see CARD TEMPLATE and amend the message to your liking.

Feed the card by hand through the printer, followed by your insert sheet (I find an A4 sheet is easier to work with but there is a lot of waste).

When you have printed your card and insert successfully you are ready for the next step.
