Finnish LEADER looks for best practice in Ireland

Cavan Monaghan Rural Development met with two Managers from two LEADER companies in Finland recently. The Finnish LEADER Managers were interested in looking at examples of best practice in the Irish LEADER network and were hoping to develop a joint project with CMRD, following their meeting.

Marjo Lindholm, Manager Keskipiste-LEADER and Kirsti Oulasmaa, Manager Kehittamispaallikko LEADER was visiting Ireland for two days. They were involved with a joint initiative between Dublin City University and a University in Finland and as a result there were 20 students stayed in the Arvagh/Killeshandra area for two weeks working on architectural related projects.
