The Community Tourism Network

The Community Tourism Network (CTN) was established in 2004 as a result of the formation of an informal working partnership between Cavan Monaghan Rural Development, Arigna LEADER and Sperrins Tourism. The development of this network is based on building working relationships among tourism providers from across the broader border region. The main objective of CTN has been to create a network based on co-operation, learning and development through training.

The work programme for CTN for 2006/07 will include the following:
Seminar - Rural Tourism - the need to provide more than just beds - 28th September 06, Sliagh Beagh Tourism Centre, Knockatallon, Co Monaghan. Click here for more details.
  • Community Tourism Web-site – a support tool for all small to medium tourism businesses. Why not sign up today?
  • Themed Seminars as directed by CTN members – see upcoming training events
  • Study trips to visit examples of best practice in Northern Ireland & Border Counties – further information to be available in mid-September 06
  • Group Marketing training for CTN members which will help you to form strategic marketing alliances with like minded tourism businesses
